Coverage

Coverage greatly varies depending on the surface porosity. Average coverage ranges from 50 to 250 square feet.

We recommend a minimum of three applications,
with formula clear (F1-C) as the final coat.
Please purchase adequate quantity
of product for your project.

The Boss
Average coverage is 50-150 sq ft (4.7-13.95 sq ms) per U.S. gal. per application depending upon type of surface and climatic conditions. On most surfaces, to obtain maximum protection we recommend a minimum of three applications.

Deck Boss
Average coverage is 50-150 sq ft (4.7-13.95 sq ms) per U.S. gal. per application depending upon type of surface and climatic conditions. To obtain maximum protection we recommend a minimum of three applications on most decks.

Roof Boss
Wood Roofs:

Average coverage is 50-100 sq. ft. per gal. (4.7-9.3 sq ms) per application depending on age, preparation procedures and climatic conditions.

The optimum of protection for all new cedar shake & shingle roofing is to apply Weather-Bos™ to all sides by pre-dipping prior to installation. This method of application will provide maximum protection and dimensional stabilization.

For maximum long term protection we recommend two applications.

Tile/Slate Roofs:
Average Coverage is 100 to 200 sq. ft (9.3-18.6 sq ms) per U.S. gallon per application, depending on age and preparation procedure. For maximum long term protection we recommend three applications.

Composition/Fiberglass:
Average coverage is 100-250 sq. ft. per gal. (9.3-23.25 sq ms) per application depending on age, and condition of roof.

For maximum long term protection we recommend two applications.

Masonry Boss
Only one coat is required, with average coverage ranging from 50 to 200 square feet per gallon (4.7-18.6 sq ms) depending on the porosity of the surface. Following proper preparation and application procedures will assure maximum protection.

Log Boss
Average coverage is 50-150 sq. ft. per gal. (4.7-13.95 sq ms) per application depending on condition of surface and types of logs.

The optimum of protection for all logs is to apply Weather-Bos™ to all sides by pre-dipping prior to assembly. This method of application will provide maximum protection and dimensional stabilization.

Marine Boss
Wood:
Only one coat is required, with average coverage ranging from 50 to 200 square feet per gallon (4.7-18.6 sq ms) per application. Hardwoods such as teak adn mahogany will use less per aplication and require multiple applications to obtain level of protection or color desired. We recommend a minimum of three applications.

Fiberglass:
Average coverage is 100-300 sq. ft. per gal. (9.4-33.9 sq ms) per application. Proper preparation is vital due to the varying porosity of fiberglass structures. Apply multiple light coats until desired finish is aquired.

Metal:
Average coverage is 150-400 sq. ft. per gal. (13.93-37.2 sq ms) per application. Apply multiple light applications until desired finish is aquired.

Our formulas are designed to penetrate the substrate, providing protection from the inside out.
